The annual CMHS Nursing Skills Fair is a way to reinforce practice guidelines and add new knowledge to our team of nurses. Throughout the week a lineup of clinical educators teach a variety of topics including infection prevention, medication administration, and patient fall prevention. Dr. Adrian Dirk presented and in-service on the proper technique to splint fractured bones or other orthopedic injuries.

"The nursing skills fair is great to refresh us on our skill-set while also encouraging us to work as a team," said Heather Rambeau, RN, Chief Nursing Offer. "The fair provides instruction and helps build our teams' clinical skills, enhancing our ability to provide the best, patient-centered care as possible throughout Coryell Memorial Healthcare System."
