The pet health staff at Hilton Veterinary Hospital is dedicated to providing unrivaled service to pet owners throughout Monroe County, NY. They’re always focused on expanding their expert team and are proud to announce that Dr. Jeffery Cacia, DVM, will be joining their staff. Dr. Cacia brings another area of pet health expertise to our veterinary clinic, and we’re excited to introduce him to our regular customers and their pets.

Meet Dr. Jeffery Cacia, DVM

Dr. Jeffery Cacia was born in Greece, New York, and received his undergraduate degree in biology, along with a minor in chemistry, from the State University of New York (SUNY), Brockport, in 2005. He then attended the School of Veterinary Medicine, at Ross University, in St. Kitts, where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2010. While there, he received the prestigious Veterinary College Award three times, a semester achievement award, and served as a class representative for four semesters. Dr. Cacia then completed a one-year internship in veterinary medicine and surgery and is now specializing in pet surgery and dentistry.

He’s happily married to his wife Kim, who serves as a veterinary technician at another practice, and is the owner of three dogs — Sheba, a Black Lab, Sammy, a Border Collie mix, and Aengus, a Border Collie. They also have three cats named Remmington, Jack, and George, as well as two rabbits — Bunny and Clyde — and a horse named Ace.

Dr. Cacia will be joining the Hilton Veterinary Hospital staff on May 1, and we’re excited to introduce him further to our patients and their pets.
