CMHS employees, physicians and residents came to visit with Ms. Jefferies’s at her meet and greet reception. “Mistee Jefferies brings a wealth of experience to her current practice at the Coryell Medical Clinic. It is uncommon to have such a skilled mental health professional in a rural area, and we are excited to add her to our team. Mrs. Jefferies has the ability to prescribe medications that patients suffering from mental health issues need to maintain healthy lives. The addition of Mrs. Jefferies is just one more step in the commitment that Coryell Memorial has made to bring quality healthcare to the communities we serve,” said Dr. Jeff Bates, Coryell Memorial Hospital Medical Director.   

Ms. Jefferies nursing experience, leadership in hospitals, as well as her experience and education in communication helps her work well with her patients.  She especially enjoys working with veterans and vulnerable populations, offering her unique perspective on helping people achieve fulfillment while ensuring a team approach to health and living. She treats individuals six and up as well as couples.
