Malia Grimes, PT, MOMT, LMBT had been a physical therapist since 1988, but in her pursuit of holistic healing she went back to school to become a massage therapist.  This became reality in 2003 when Malia was issued a license as a North Carolina Massage Therapist.

She opened Hands-On Health Massage & Physical Therapy, on a part-time basis, in 2003 inside the Johnson Street Chiropractic building at 1211 Johnson St., High Point, NC.  From 2003 to 2015, Malia, who had still been working at other Physical Therapy clinics, realized that Hands-On Health had grown not only to the point of becoming a full-time job, but that it was also time to expand!

In July 2016, the practice moved just 1 block North to 202 Kelly Place, Suite 102, where everything is now all on one floor and handicap accessible.

In November 2017, Tonya Younts, LMBT joined the practice. Tonya, in her last semester at Davidson County Community College, will graduate May 2018 with an Associate’s in Applied Science degree in Therapeutic Massage.
