Mr. Corletta once again saved the license of a chronic traffic offender client by reducing a potentially crippling 6-point speeding charge to a mere 0-point parking violation in People v. B.S. (Gates Tn. Ct., 9/7/17).

In that case, Mr. Corletta’s client was a chronic traffic offender who was piling up points on their license and endangering their ability to drive. With a conviction for Speeding, the client would have again faced a license suspension for too many points.

Instead, Mr. Corletta was able to persuade the Court and District Attorney to agree to a 0-point parking violation based upon the client’s circumstances, which included a serious illness, and a recently started job, and small children to support.

As a result, the client kept their license, with a minimal fine. This was at least the third time Mr. Corletta had assisted this client in avoiding license consequences.
