He wanted to own his own restaurant, and so he eventually worked his way up to manager, and then bought the joint in 1986.

With a name change in 1995, Tyroni’s Italian Cafe was born. Since then, the family restaurant has been serving authentic Italian dishes like homemade pasta, chicken portobello mushroom ravioli, hand-crafted pizza, and dozens of other Italian favorites (manicotti or tortelloni, anyone?) to satisfy customers in the greater Peoria area.
